Oh how I wish I could call my dad this morning. How I wish he would answer. How I can almost hear what he would say. I can almost feel it. I think about him every single day. And I dream that he is still somehow watching over me. Life will simply never be the same without him. Happy Birthday to the most incredible man I ever met. I am so lucky he was my own father. I love you dad!

First ER trip

Sophia fell at school yesterday and cut her chin open. It was pretty small but pretty deep too. She was brave until the shot came to numb for stitches. Either way, she was back to herself in no time. I felt thankful that that was all we were there for.
