My Little Nephew Truman

I went to LA this weekend to see my nephew Truman. What a little bundle of joy!! He is truly the cutest little guy ever. So sweet. He was on his best behavior for me and totally won me over with the first sight of him. He smiles and moves his arms and legs to exercise. He seems so happy. Rob and Noel are great parents. They seem so natural and make it look so easy. I mean, not that easy. Noel is pretty much feeding him around the clock and if he's not feeding, he could be yaking or pooping or needing his eyes wiped. It's pretty much constant care. But he is so cute, you can't help but give him everything he needs. I, of course, spoiled him. I did all the things I wasn't going to do. I put him in my bed to sleep with him, I held him as much as I could. I even held him so much at Dad's house that his grandpa didn't get to hold him. I was just so in love with him. I miss him already!!!

He is such a Laker fan he was dreaming about the game!
I couldn't put him down!

He loves showing off some skin!

Easter Sunday

I am overcoming my fear and posting the first picture of my pregnant belly. Lauren had an Easter party and we were loving the sunny day!

6 months and counting

It's been a few weeks since I've posted and some really great things have happened. I passed all the medical screenings and I've been told that our little baby girl is growing perfectly. She has all good measurements and she is moving a lot. She was flexing her hands in the last ultrasound and moving all around.

The baby room is just waiting for Fay's painting. Other than that, it is pretty much just waiting for the little one. Ted and I laugh cause we know she will be in our room for a long time before she makes it to her own room but we still love it and it is nice to have it done.

We visited Arizona last weekend and it was great to get away and travel with the life as we know it. Lisa, Cathy, Abby, and Liz are great. Lisa was funny. She seemed a little nervous when she touched my belly and had to take a step back. ;) I assured her not to worry. She wouldn't be put on babysitting duty and she seemed much calmer after that.

I find myself watching my stomach to see her move. I can feel it but it's exciting for me to see it. Ted has seen her move a few times but you have to have patience and just watch closely for now.

Lauren sent out the invite for the baby shower. It's still 2 months away but exciting to be getting closer.

I gave my notice to work as well. July 17 will be my last day. Hopefully she doesn't come too early so that I can transition my work to someone else.

I can't wait to meet my little girl!!
