Grandpa King travels all the way to Concord!

Sophia looked right at Grandpa. She must have known his voice from all the times I spoke to him on speaker phone driving to and from work while I was pregnant. :)

He even got to supervise bath time! (rated PG)

Sophia loves her crib

Sophia has started sleeping in her own room in her own crib! She seems to like it...at least she isn't crying so we assume all is good for now. :)

Amanda meets Sophia!

Amanda was so great to have around! We already miss her! Thanks for all the hugs, kisses, and good times. :)

Truman and Sophia make peace :)

After getting snubbed by Truman, Sophia makes the first move for peace.

Uncle Rob, Auntie Noel, and Cousin Truman Visit!!!

It was so good to have little Truman visit and of course hang out with his parents. It was great to see all the things we have to look forward to by seeing what Truman can do now. He is so happy and smiles all the time! It was a great visit!

Sophia loves her play gym

More and more awake time each day!

Lucy and Milo

Milo and Lucy love little Sophie and would do anything to lick her all day. But unfortunately they get locked out of her room. They sit and wait till we join them in the living room.

Rough Day

A few of my friends

The ladies just couldn't get enough of Sophia!

Uncle Al seemed afraid he would break her at first but fell in love as soon as she laid in his arms.

Life with Sophia

n In some ways, I can't believe it has been 2 weeks but in others, it seems like it has been months. Sophia is growing everyday and weighs in at 9 pounds 1 ounce and grew an inch and a half in two weeks. She is doing very well with breastfeeding and seems to be right on target. :)

Ted and I are adjusting very well. We are definitely not used to being home this much and have experienced some cabin fever but nothing a few days trips can't take care of. So we have started getting out once a day and trying to get some sort of normalcy back in our lives.

Someone told me a few days ago that life is not all about this baby. After thinking it over for the past few days, I realize that life is definitely all about this baby. I can not express how absolutely in love I am with Sophia. And Ted makes me feel so loved, so special, and so lucky everyday. I feel blessed that I worked so hard leading up to this to allow myself to stay home, dreamed of this baby for so long that I was ready to give her my all, and tried so hard for years to hold her in my arms that I can't imagine life without her. I know that I am very fortunate to choose Sophia as my life right now. There isn't anywhere else I would like to be or anything else I would like to be doing.

Whatchu got Truman?

Sophia Patricia Graham has arrived!

We are so excited to announce the birth of our little girl, Sophia. She is a perfect little 8 lb baby and we are so in love we can't imagine what life was like without her.

I went into labor at 7:30am on July 29th and was able to time my first contraction on the elliptical at 24 hour fitness. When I got home, I told Ted it was time and we tried to go about our day by feeding me high protein and walking for hours and hours to get the contractions 4 minutes apart.

We got to Kaiser Walnut Creek at about 10 or so at night and labored through the night. It was time to start pushing at 5:50 in the morning when I reached 10cm dilated. At that time, Ted stood by my side for the next three hours as I pushed our little bundle of joy out into the world at 8:37am on July 30, 2009. She was 8 lbs 10 oz and 21 inches long. It was so much more intense and amazing than I ever expected. I would not have wanted to do it with anyone else but Ted. He is absolutely the most amazing man in the world and I know he would do anything for me and Sophia.

So now we are adjusting to being home and enjoying every single minute with our little sweet pea.

We will try to post more pics soon!
